Description

Summit – Bittering Hop crossed between Lexus an unknown male derived from a number of hops including Zeus, Nugget varieties. It is the first dwarf hop to be bred for production in the United States. Summit™ is mainly used for bittering, it does have some earthy aromatic characteristics and subtle notes of citrus.

Aroma: CITRUS, SPICY, HERBAL

ALPHA ACIDS: 15- 17%

Typical Brewing Style: Barley Wines, IPAs, Imperial IPAs, Pale Ales, Stouts

Possible Substitution:  AMARILLO, CASCADE, COLUMBUS, MELLENNIUM, SIMCOE, WARRIOR
