Calypso is the folklore of Trinidad and a good dark rum came the classic song “Rum and Coca-Cola” a huge hit in 1945. This rich medley of coffee, dark rum and caramel mixed with your favorite cola will take you to the beaches of the West Indies. Use it in your favorite coffee cake recipe or add to your favorite BBQ sauce. Makes 1.125 liters.
Instructions: Shake well – Add to 550 ml of neutral alcohol/spirit or vodka with 40% ABV, then add 280ml of water, 300 ml sugar and 100 ml of glucose. Mix together well and for best results age for 7-10 days before drinking.
