Sambuca may be served neat. It may also be served on the rocks or with water, resulting in the ouzo effect from the anethole in the anise.
Sambuca goes particularly well with coffee. Like other anise liqueurs, it may be drunk after coffee or added directly to coffee in place of sugar.
Instructions: Shake well – Add to 910 ml of neutral alcohol/spirit or vodka with 40% ABV, then add 290 ml sugar. Mix together well and for best results age for 7-10 days before drinking.
