Irish cream is a cream liqueur based on Irish whiskey, cream, and other ingredients such as coffee, which can be served on its own or used in mixed drinks or as part of a shot or a whole shot. Irish cream is very popular in the United Kingdom and the United States. Irish Cream typically has between 15 to 20% alcohol by volume (ABV).
It is usually served over ice as a moderately strong beverage on its own, but is often mixed stronger by adding more whiskey, often Scotch whiskey or sometimes bourbon, which complements the Irish Whiskey used in brewing. Irish cream is a common addition to White Russians, due to its creamy flavor.
Instructions: Shake well – Add to 220 ml of alcohol or vodka 40% ABV, then add 220ml of water, 250 ml sugar and 500 ml of cream. Mix together well and for best results age for 7-10 days before drinking.
Note: When using dairy base products such as cream the liqueur will need to be refrigerated and has a limited shelf life.
No need to refrigerate and add shelf life just like the commercial cream liqueurs by substituting the sugar and cream with 500 ml of the essencia EziBase Cream Liqueur Base….Nothing could be easier!!
